people. to help clean up the city. kron 4's scott rates shows us how the program will work. >> reporter: the city manager telling me this program will provide food, clothing and cash to the homeless here on these streets in exchange for helping keep the city looking sharp! last night the city approving funding to bring in the non-profit organization downtown streets team. the $272,000 one year program will create a 12 person team made up of homeless individuals here in san rafael. the team members will work about 20 hours a week cleaning side-walks and streets. in return they will receive $100 a week for food and housing the downtown streets team already has successful programs in palo alto and san jose, the san rafael city manager says the homeless problem here has gotten so bad something had to be done >> we will have always had downtown facilities to help the homeless. lately, however there is been a larger number. our citizens have been concerned that we need to do more. and the cities portion of that $272,000 price tag will only be 47k because of several donations the city hopes th

in san francisco. but next season will be the teams last at the stick. the city has announced plans to demolish the stadium after the team moves south to its new home in santa clara. kron 4's charles clifford has more >> reporter: candlestick parks sits about 5 and a half miles south of downtown san francisco. the stadium was built in the late fifties as a home for the san francisco giants, the 49ers started using it in 1971. the giants moved out in 2000 and the next nfl season will be candlesticks last. for more than fifty years candlestick park has been home to sports, concerts, and more than a few memorable moments, among the highlights was the 1989 loma prieta earthquake, which shook the stadium on live television during the world series. there was also this pass from joe montana to dwight clark, which was immortalized as the catch that sent the 49ers to superbowl 16. candlestick park is currently run by the san francisco recreation and parks department, but after the 49ers play there last game here next season, developer lennar urban will take over. lennar is the same company t

indonesia. >> palo alto police are investigating an attempted child kidnapping. in one of that city's quiet neighborhoods. kron four's jeff bush shows you where it happened and who police are looking for palo alto police say it happened about this time of day. it was about 5:30 monday afternoon. an 11 year old girl was riding her bike along emerson streetsouthbound. that's when she says this man was yelling obceneties at her as she approached. that scared her but what scared here even more is when he ran out into the street and tried to grab her. she peddled harder and got away and made it home where she told her parents what had happened to her. take a look at this sketch obtained by kron four. you can see there is a high degree of detail in the sketch. the suspect is described as a white male in his 30's, about 140 to 160 pounds with balding, light color hair and round glasses. palo alto police say they are on the lookout for this man. our kids are our most valuable resource and law enforcement takes things very seriously any time a child is involved, especially and 11 year old girl. many
